will the world boycott the number one best selling car line in the world come 2007?
For gay rights? A Japanese company? A japanese company that used discrimination as the very basis for it's economic model?
A small story. I worked for some wonderful Conservative Jews in the late Nineties. Principled, honest, family oriented Orthodox who treated me with respect. When Chrysler was sold to Mercedes Benz, EVERY Orthodox jew sold their Chrysler products and went back to Chevy, but not Ford, because Ford discriminates/boycotts Israel in their dealings with the Saud's (too long to explain).
The bottom line is, if you aren't going to buy a product because it's shit, fine. But to "boycott" a gigantic corporation thinking they will change their business practices when they are struggling to win back Mom and Pop America, I wish you luck. Just don't buy their cars. Most Americans won't anyway.
