Question re Air America Radio "Premium"...
On Feb 7th podcasts will no longer be free of charge- I hate it! I live for my podcasts of Randi Rhodes Show (as I did for Morning Sedition). Podcasts are commercial free. If they will remain commercial free, it might be worth the subscription price- $50.00/year for a single program or $70.00/year for all AAR programs.

Randi is the only show I would pay for- but I hear Marc Maron is getting a show on AAR starting Feb 15 or thereabouts...

If AAR podcast contain commercials i will NOT buy the "premium". I'd much rather give money to BenBurch at White Rose Society. Hell I would have supported WRS long ago but AAR was free (sorry Ben!). So, here's a question- if AAR is "selling" podcasts now, and I'd rather give money to WRS- any arrangements been made with AAR and WRS?

I know this post is all over the map but there's lots to think about here... any ideas would be appreciated!

Thank you, Ben for your fine, fine work!

1. Stephanie Miller's podcasts are subscription only
But she posts some good chunks of the show for free each day.

2. what's amazing is that the "democratic resistance" doesn't have a free...
radio financed by internal means... so that people of small means could access to unbiased information everywhere, anytime.

3. From what it says over at Air America Place, the podcasts will be 100%
commercial free.

All the info is here:

And I believe that is AAR (and AA Place) the only place you can get Air America podcasts.

4. 50 or 70
Either way, it's a deal not to have to listen to their horrible commercials. I might be a subscriber.
