6. Not for once, since Pelosi has taken over, it has happened several times
that is why I was so pissed when people were calling for her to Resign. She is the first leader to get Dems to vote 100% against anything in a long time.

17. It already has passed the Senate
But Robert Byrd used some arcane rule to make it go back again to the house. The preznit will sign it and it'll be law.

I am proud of her ... BUT a 216 to 214 vote reeks of horse-trading. That's just enough to let the bill pass and also let all the Dems. and a few Repukes save face with their constituents. What did saving face cost us, I wonder? -Laelth

14. CAFTA passed the same way
although I think 5 Dems voted for CAFTA Then there was another one that passed the same way, but I think the senate filibustered that one (the defense bill I think)
