Why shouldn't Cindy attack Dems who also support the war?
I see that Cindy called Diane F. a "warmonger". I'm not sure I would go that far. But on the other hand Cindy Sheehan isn't a partisan and never has been. Yes, she strongly attacks Bush's war and we applauded her when she set up camp in Crawford, but when she started giving equal time to Democrats who support the war--some of us here have expressed shock.

Why?

She is a critic of the war and if after all we know today about how we got into this war and several Democratic members of the House and Senate still continue to support it--why shouldn't she take them to task? It's one thing to say that "Yes, I voted for the war, but what I've learned since convinces me we shouldn't be there" and those who still support the war--despite what they have learned since.

She is just being consistent imo.

1. Depends on what is meant by "support the war"
Does that include Democrats who voted to authorize giving Bush authority to take his case to the UN? Or is it just limited to those who actually supported war, and still support war?

2. Absolutely she should
If she wants to be consistent in her criticism, it should be to all those elected officals who support the war.

3. She's free to say what she pleases
and good or bad, she'll reap the rewards of being outspoken. Personally, Cindy Sheehan has never spoken to me, or for me. Yes, yes, I have sympathy for her regarding the loss of her son, and no she shouldn't have been arrested at the SOTU. I'm glad she drew attention to the cost of the war, but I don't find her particularly compelling or articulate.

4. She's got the right to do and say ANYTHING she wants
Isn't that what her son died for?

5. Cindy's Leadership is Top Notch
Cindy is like a shepard, chasing cowardly and morally-compromised democrats back into line. Cindy's authority comes from the reality of her experience. Her son is dead, not Diane Feinstein's son or daughter.
