I'm sorry for making light. I know how impassioned about animals many people are here. It wasn't/isn't my intention to hurt animal lovers. I heard a funny-sounding name and thought of a rock band, nothing more to it than that.

I agree, it is sad what happened to the poor puppies. Really. Our Beagle died just over a year ago, and I still miss her, and can't look at other puppies without getting teary. But this was just a light-hearted moment. I sure hope it doesn't turn into one of those animal rights threads! Wasn't my intention.

it's just that I saw their picture and they were such lovely babies. But, I admit that 'Drug Smuggling Puppies' is a pretty good band name! SG

because my gut reaction is that anyone who would do this should be shot . . . no trial, no waiting, just shot . . .
