CNN poll regarding the Patriot Åct
How would you describe the Patriot Act as a tool in the war on terror? (Unfortunately, unconstitutional and counter-productive is not a choice.)

Scroll down to Quick Vote at the botton right.

5. Useless
The Patriot Act protects us from terrorists about as well as garlic keeps away vampires.

I haven't seen any vampires so the garlic must be working!;)

Useless, of course.
But while I was there, happened to notice that Heather Locklear -- well-noted Republican celeb -- is filing for divorce (#2).
Why does she hate marriage and America?

3. She heard that an anti-gay bill in Maryland was shit-canned
by the Dems. Since gay rights are obviously a threat to the institution of marriage, hers promptly imploded.

4. Yes, her betrayal of American values is heartrending
But of course, the other headline was that an 18-yr-old, criminally homophobic man attacked patrons at a gay bar in Massachusetts with an ax and a gun. He was a graduate of some "young cops" program, where he apparently learned a lot about civil society and the rights of his fellow citizens.

7. All those gay weddings in MA had to start taking a toll sometime

we've known it was coming.

Actually, CNN could have made the poll question shorter - How would you classify the War on Terror? would have gotten the same response.
