"Honey Fitz" was the name that was given to the father of Jackie Kennedy's father (she was a Fitzgerald). He was a rather dubious businessman is what I had been led to believe. Most people don't remember being he's been gone a very long time now.

I got the father/grandfather part mixed up. But yes, it was Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy, the wife of Joseph P. Kennedy; her father was aka "Honey Fitz".

"He'll be a dangerous adversary for Fitzgerald as he has remarkable people skills and is a black man who will easily connect to most jurors. Ironically, Wells is a Democrat who was deeply involved with Bill Bradley's political campaigns in New Jersey. Unfortunately this is a brilliant move by Libby."
