Members of the drug task force opened the packages and found $108,500 dollars in cash.

An undercover narcotics officer spoke to ABC7 on condition that his identity not be revealed.

Undercover agent, Drug Task Force: "The boxes which were wrapped had newspapers stuffed into the boxes and inside the newspapers was U.S. currency in various denominations tied with rubber bands. Money was inside various plastic baggies including a CNBC shopping bag."

The officer says the packages were sent from Columbus, Ohio.
