White Rose has a problem, and YOU can help!

The problem is that we have tons of Liberal and Progressive talk radio for folks to listen to, but not enough people listening.

We pay for 8000 GB (That is 8 Terabytes!) of bandwidth every month, and we are only using about 40% of that.

The reason is that many people don't know that we exist.

And that is where YOU come in!

13. I think it's more important to get as many listeners as possible.

When one is facing obstacles, one can retreat or one can enlist allies to help spread the message. I don't know the financial requirements of buying bandwidth on the White Rose Society site, but maybe there is a price break at a certain point.

I do this as my full time job.

Each server has 80 GB of storage space and comes with 2000 GB of bandwidth.

Since I keep all shows forever, I need a lot of online storage.

Now, I could ditch the older shows, but I feel this is a resource that will be valuable for researchers, so I keep everything.

15. Ben what is with the AAR "premium" stuff...?

I've been hearing an announcement preceding Mike Malloy's broadcasts (downloaded) that downloads of AAR programs will not be free after February 7. You will have to pay a scheduled amount to download the programs from then on. What's up with that? How is that going to impact yours and "Air America Place's" providing the programs? :shrug:

I can understand the "premium" thing (sort of), but it would really be a shame if these programs were not readily and easily disseminated around the country. I would think that "spreading the message" (as you do) would be the primary goal of AAR at this point. Sure, I bet they do need the money, but the message just seems so much more important right now.
