1. Ellen: It has been fairly widely reported that during an appearance last week on Hannity & Colmes, Pat Robertson repeated his desire for the assassination of Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez. What seems to have flown under the radar screen is that Sean Hannity not only seemed to second the idea, he implied that maybe the president of Iran should be killed too.

Judy: Fox News is trying to get Wall Street to come to the rescue of the Bush Administration and protect it from any political fallout for spying on Americans without warrants, but the effort failed when a Democratic analyst called for George Bush to be impeached for violating the law.

Marie Therese: Last week just before President Bush's State of the Union speech, two women - antiwar activist Cindy Sheehan and veterans' rights activist Beverly Young - were both evicted from the gallery. Although both women were from opposite sides of the political spectrum, they had one thing in common: Both were unhappy with George Bush's administration and had expressed that criticism in very public ways.

Melanie: The Democrats couldn't get it together to filibuster Alito, preferring instead to "hold their fire" for some future issue or to "work with" Republicans in an effort to be nice. But, if you listened to Fox, you'd realize what a wasted effort that was because, according to Neil Cavuto, Alito was filibustered.
http://tinyurl.com/86pxw 5.Chrish: FNC's John Gibson acknowledges that Bush will have to take his domestic wiretapping crime all the way to the Supreme Court. FOX analyst and long-time Alito friend Judge Napolitano hints that the newest member of the Court will likely hand Bush a "get out of jail free" card.

Donna: Several times in the past few weeks Studio B with Shepard Smith has shown President Bush giving a variation of the line, 'If I was lying to the American people why would I brief Congress?" This was repeated this week and it was also reported that President Bush is refusing to hand over documents to Congress associated with the NSA Domestic Spying Program. My question is, "If he already briefed Congress why won't he turn over the documents now?"
