2. Gonzales is a primary example of why so many people hate lawyers.

He is slick, he is evasive, he is manipulating the context of the question to suit his answer, he is distorting the truth, he is playing mind games to help his "client."


It's hard for me to believe that this is the same snarky Specter at the Alito hearings. Does Specter now understand what is really going on, or does he think the NSA eavesdropping per bush's orders are some sort of isolated incident? Because if he doesn't yet understand what's going on, he better get himself educated really fast as to this administration's agenda.

6. Specter Didn't Really Take That Tough A Stand When I Saw Him On C-Span

I can't open these Canofun vids, I'm on an older Mac, using Netscape.

But when I watched Specter this afternoon, he made some good points, but it was all smiles between the two of them.
