So how many terrorists has Gonzalez convicted?
Edited on Tue Feb-07-06 08:35 AM by DoYouEverWonder
ZERO!

Even with all of the rights that he has granted Bush. The right to ignore the constitution and the rule of law. Even with the full force and might of the US Military. Even with Bush's total reorganization of the US government to create his powerful Dept of Homeland Security. Even with all of this and more, Gonzalez has not convicted a single terrorist.

Osama bin Forgotten is still on the loose and making speeches. The Amazing Zarqawi is still limping around the Middle East. Mullah Omar is in negotiations with Karzai.

So with all of this, billions of US dollars wasted, 2200+ US KIA, 50,000+ US wounded, 100,000+ Iraqi killed and injured, Gonzalez still has not convicted a single terrorist?

Obviously breaking every law written isn't doing much to win their war on terror.

Bonus question:

Guess which one is smarter?

3. Osama bin Forgotten! The Amazing Zarqawi!
You gave me a huge laugh this am with those two! May I please steal them and use them in, say, a letter to the editor of my local paper? I love to drive the RWers in my area to distraction!

10. Okay, great. But I need some background on Mullah Omar
and Karzai. Do you have some source I can refer to in my letter?

11. Not exactly in negoations
but Karzai issued an invitation to Mullah Omar a couple of weeks ago to try to work things out.

Here's a source for you:

Karzai reaches out to Afghans, including Taliban

1/8/2006

KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) — President Hamid Karzai invited Taliban leader Mullah Omar to contact his government to seek reconciliation, but he said Sunday he did not expect the fugitive to come out of hiding.

5. All of junior's appointees indeed shined and glowed in the Hearing
yesterday.

John Cornyn was absolutely magnificent
Alberto Gonzales was one tap dancing razzle dazzle fool that indeed entertained the likes of Jess Session and Orin Hatch.

6. He can't give out that information
it might tip off the terrorists that they are being spied on. Aren't these the same terrorists that the CIA trained? Wasn't one of the things they told terrorists was expect to have all your commuications monitored? Isn't that why the government spends so much time looking for codes in every OBL tape? Can you say B*ll sh*t?
