Police: Landlord Rigged Intricate Monitoring System To Watch Tenants

A 62-year-old landlord in Florida was arrested on suspicion he used hidden cameras to videotape more than 20 women and several children using the toilet, showering and sleeping, according to a Local 6 News report.


Christina Standridge, who is a mother of four children, said she discovered she was videotaped for many hours while inside her home in Parker Bay County, Fla.

Police said Standridge's landlord, Judd McDevett, taped Standridge and at least 23 other tenants in the bathroom, in the shower and even in their beds.

Local 6 showed video recently released by police of a woman walking nude in her bathroom, unaware she was being watched.

5. Yep, happened in NW Ohio a few years back, the landlord

had installed cameras in his rental units. He ended up killing himself once it became public.
