Jimmy Carter shows how hateful he is during King speech
Self | 2-7-2006 | Thanatos

Posted on 02/07/2006 2:38:58 PM PST by Thanatos

Jimmy Carter shows his only colors are all partisan.. Deciding to desecrate the funeral of Coretta Scott King , the former president decided to ignore the grief of the King Family, to throw away the teachings of Martin Luther King Jr., and focused his speech on attacking the President of the United States. Why? Because he could so he did.

This is the essence of hate.. Why the Left Wing is so bereft of leadership, bereft of a path, bereft of morals. Their whole platform is simple hate. “I hate the President”, “I hate the USA”, “I hate Children”, “I hate the fact you have more money then me”.. That is their platform.. Jimmy Carter FAILED to protect this nation and for 444 days, Carter allowed American Citizens be used at pawns in a Terrorist uprising and allowed the overthrow of Iran, the Same country instigating a Worldwide Nuclear Crises.. This is the legacy of Jimmy Carter because he FAILED to protect the American People against Terrorist. And he is complaining and whining because THIS President IS Protecting Americans from the same threats Carter faced??

I personally think Carter and the Democrats are just basically jealous. A Republican is winning where the Democrats failed and allowed Americans to Die at the Hands of Terrorist.. Bush is Saving Americans, so he is to be totally hated.

I Demand that Ex-President Jimmy Carter immediately apologize to the King Family and to Apologize to the American People for his hate speech!

3. I don't even hate the president. Sure as hell don't hate kids and the USA
I might hate freepers if I actually met any of them. I might genuinely hate Bush if I knew him better. But hate is such a strong word. These people throw it around like "whatever." They don't have a clue what it is to truly hate. Maybe they should become muslims and watch the USA bomb the living shit out of their families...maybe then they'll figure out what "hate" really is. It also might help explain a lot to them.

but the president is a total, complete, and absolute flaming shithead. I hate him as much I know the meaning of the word hate. He is a liar. He is an antichrist. He is an evil, unscrupulous fool. Would that his visage never passed before my consciousness.

edit for sp. and to add adjectives describing the presidents uncanny ability to turn my stomach.

I mean you have them in the same sentence saying;

The troops are dying in Iraq for our freedoms bush has the right to take away our freedoms to keep us safe I don't mind losing some freedoms.

And ya know, they just don't see it.

22. And that is the crux
Bush can say or do anything and they'll fall in line. Bush knew that the automatic supporters would follow him, he started the Iraq invasion to gain support from middle. Now that support is back to the automatic supporters statements like you quote are to be expected.

33. I've never before seen supposedly mentally sane people
say YESNO or UPDOWN or INOUT before.

Yet the bushbots do exactly that. Every time bush contradicts himself, even in the same sentence...so do the bushbots.

Are there really that many mentally retarded citizens in this country? Even children can see the contradictions, yet these adults, supposedly educated at least to some extent, cannot.

Like this crap of "the (9/11) 3000 dead don't have civil rights" ...dear incredibly stupid rightwingnuts, can ya show me PLEASE just ONE DEAD PERSON ANYWHERE who has civil rights. I mean HELLO AMERICAN IDIOTS!

Or how the DEMS killed the 3000 US & other nationalities on 9/11. Forget the FACT that BUSH was in charge for several months BEFORE 911 or the FACT that bush had been WARNED from Day 1. Nope, was the DEMS! Of course they also blame the Dems (Clinton) for the first WTC attack even tho CLinton had only been in office 38 DAYS, NOT EIGHT MONTHS LIKE BUSH.

You can show them fact after fact after fact but nope they insist on being Idiot Americans by chanting the very same idiocy & contradictions bush spews.

Fucking embarrassing that the rest of the entire world reads their crap and thinks WE arte as stupid as the rightwingnuts.

Is it the water, the food, drugs, TV, social influences, inactivity, genetic decline...somewhere, for some reason the decline shows a snowballing loss in American rationality. I just saw a poll on Iran results where it is now seen as our biggest threat! I bet if Bush started saying Antarctica was aiming to invade us and show how the Antarc fanatics were going to use atomic icebergs to attacks us, after six months the USAins would reflect that idea through polling. HELLLoooOOO!

5. Where to begin?
Carter brought those hostages home alive. Every last one of them. Reagan traded arms with the Iranian regime and sent the profits to the Nicaraguan Contras, in violation of the law.

When the King family asks for an apology, we'll talk, but I don't see that happening.

but wanting the person who, by hook or by crook, is occupying the position of the presidency to honor their much deserving mother doesn't mean that they don't want truth spoken to power.

bush was right to want to come (honestly, he would have been criticized either way -- that's what happens when you spend years promoting policies that are against everything a dead hero stood for), the King family was right to let him come, and the speakers who criticized poor policy were right to do so.

29. The Kings lived political lives.
From the extracts that I've read, Carter was simply referring the ideals and experiences of the Kings to topical issues. Lowery went a little further, but how his words could upset the Kings' mourners is beyond me. Explain why you see the matter differently.

for what is right, for the Constitution for which they have no honor, hating children is cutting their programs and letting them go to bed humgry and shipping their mom and dad's jobs overseas, and as far as being political it is all about politics this WH has made that clear every single miserable day they have been there. (Think Katrina!)

Jimmy Carter is someone I would follow any day, he is one of our greatest leaders.

If the party or the White House dare to complain about it, it leaves the door open for a statement like this:

"We're sorry Mr. Bush felt slighted at the funeral, but we thought the event was honoring Ms. King and not the Commander In Chief"
"Perhaps they chould have played 'Hail to the Chief' on his way out"

The Republicans would be very wise to let this one go.
That said....I bet they aren't that smart.
