Republican Heather Wilson may be going against Bush on Wire Taping

I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico and today I caught a few minutes of a local Republican talk radio show. They had Representative Heather Wilson on and it sounded like she didn't get Karl Rove's memo. I only caught the tail end of the interview but I think she was interviewed by the New York Times and she sounded like she was extremely frustrated with the answers Gonzales was giving and that they kept saying everything was secret. Her tone was that she may be ready to take on the president.

After the interview was over the host said "It sounds like this NSA thing is about to explode into something huge!" Mind you, this guy is a Republican.

I wish I had heard the whole interview and could give more details but this is all I caught.

Anyone else hear anything about this?

I'm not sure if she is running interference or really trying to INVESTIGATE this. Time will tell.

justify and change laws or something like that. Does anybody have that post? I don't trust her.

6. Nope, on KO she said she isn't in charge of investigating the legality

just the program itself and that Congress needs more oversight.

Keith specifically asked her about its legality and she said that isn't her venue.

Too bad. Had me going there for a moment.

I wish he'd asked her about getting a prosecutor on the case to determine the legality. Once it has been determined it's illegal, which it obviously is, let impeachment proceedings begin.
