A disturbing fact regarding Bush's tax cuts!
Edited on Wed Feb-08-06 10:35 PM by Tim4319
If these were truly compassionate people, how can they ridicule people for voicing their displeasures about what this administration is doing to this country when the administration pass idiotic proposals such as the new tax cuts? If he truly felt the words he spoke at Coretta Scott King's funeral, this new bill would not have been signed. He has gone completely against what the Kings stood for.

Check some snips I just read from The Boston Globe:

<<snip>>
On the people who would be driven out of coverage altogether, the report said, ''About 60 percent of those losing coverage would be children."

<<snip>>
The rich get compassion and tax cuts. The poor get no compassion. They just get cut.

1. Perhaps I'm just becoming too cynical but...
I'm really not too shocked by the hypocrisy that permeates through the halls of government anymore. Maybe over the past five years I've just gotten used to it.

Well, the last five years for me, have been a learning experience. I am fairly new to this politics game, and I am still kind of amazed when I come across information such as this.

3. Even the irony has a familiar taste to it...
the shrub wouldn't be in office without the conservative christian wingnut vote. Jesus would be so proud of His children.
