Tom DeLay given subcomittee seat overseeing the Justice Department. WTF?
I guess I shouldn't be outraged by this shit anymore.

DeLay Rejoins House Appropriations Committee ...

~snip~Mr. DeLay, who was a member of the powerful committee until becoming majority leader in 2003, was able to rejoin the panel because of a vacancy created after the resignation of Representative Randy Cunningham, Republican of California. Mr. Cunningham pleaded guilty in November to charges relating to accepting $2.4 million in bribes for government business and other favors

Mr. DeLay was also given a seat on the subcommittee overseeing the Justice Department, which is investigating an influence-peddling scandal involving the disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff and his dealings with lawmakers
. ~snip~

2. Putting him on
the Justice Dept. oversight subcommittee is a v-e-r-y stupid thing to do, given the issues Congress needs to deal with. Besides, why isn't Mr. DeLay putting his efforts into defending his own name--seems to me he couldn't possibly give 100% of his energies to his job.

5. Well In Fact He Is Defending His Own Name.....
as the Justice Dept investigates Abramoff - he can steer the subcommittee away from anything that smells of himself.

6. This has to be the most corrupt House of
Representatives EVER! If I was a House member I would beat the crap out of all those Republicans. I may be only 5 ft. 2 inches tall but I would turn into HULK!

7. I guess the only things that will stop them are jail or the Grim Reaper...
...seeing as how these con-artists are utterly without shame or principles.
