5. If this was true, Bush would have used it in the debates.
Edited on Thu Feb-09-06 02:44 PM by blm
He's only saying this now out of desperation for getting caught spying domestically.

that Bush wouldn't have used such an important Homeland Security accomplishment as this would have been (had it actually happened) to win reelection.

Or at one of his little rallies. Instead he just kept saying "support our troops" nonsense or "it's hard work" etc.

7. So what part of this alleged surveillance involved alleged US residents?
I'd like someone to give a quick rundown of how this operation does anything to justify the allegedly unconstitutional breaches of purported privacy which are the major supposed points of possible contention here. Was it necessary that said surveillance take place within the USA?
Did it involve US citizens/legal residents, or only foreign nationals?
Was the backing data so weak that a warrant could not have been obtained through a FISA court per statute?

Any way you slice it, this thing stinks... still.

11. I think I smell an alleged PSYOP story,
or perhaps an alleged attempt to divert attention from the illegal domestic wiretaps and shore up alleged support of domestic spying.

17. And where are the reports of the arrest and conviction or
even capture of this plotter? The millennium bombers conviction was reported last year, think he's trying to fool people into believing he is this plotter? or maybe it's the 93 bombers that were convicted and imprisoned? This smells...
