C'mon, once a Hitler youth, always a Hitler youth.

Brown didn't check his loyalty at the door. He's just saying that he should be paid for the service he's about to render on behalf of his Great Leader.

We really are living in the Twilight Zone.

So if Brownie is demanding the * pays for his legal fee or he is going to tell all...isn't that bribary or extortion?

He is supposed to testify I think next Friday...he better not get on a small plane or other vehicles!

16. Forbes does their best job to tone this down...
... and not make it look like what it actually is. The "thousands of documents" that the WH has given the Senate aren't the ones they wanted, for starters. Second, they make absolutely no mention of a subpoena for Brown (I don't think one's been issued, given that Republicans control the committee), so, why is he demanding legal support (and, presumably, aid) of the WH if he's going to testify voluntarily?

Forbes doesn't want to say so, but it certainly seems that there is, indeed, no honor among thieves. :)

"If he receives no guidance to the contrary, we'll do as any citizen should do - and that is to answer all questions fully, completely and accurately," Lester said.

They are only releasing this letter in order to scare up a response. He doesn't actually *want* to tell anybody anything--when the letter itself clearly states that to do so would be the responsibility of any good citizen.

Thousands of people DIED! Fuck this asshat. :argh:

"Mr. Brown is going to testify before Congress. If he receives no guidance to the contrary, we'll do as any citizen should do - and that is to answer all questions fully, completely and accurately," Lester said

and the biggest problem in this goddamn government.
