On tweety's show Jonathan Turley explaining how libby worked for cheney who worked for "the most important person in the world"?? OMG I want to hurl... :puke:

At least since WWII. Kind of thought that was behind the premise of World Can't Wait, the acknowledgement of the importance of the US Presidency. Not everything is Bush propaganda.

16. Of course Bush is the most important person in the world.

He's is the president of a country which has more international influence than the rest of the world put together, and given that he has Senate and Congress majorities his power over it is fairly complete.

Not merely does he have more power than anyone else in the world, he probably has more power than the next five put together. The military and financial influence of America is hard to overestimate.

Of course, "important" doesn't mean "good".
