Do you think Clear Channel is pissed at AAR?
960 the Quake in San Francisco is a Clear Channel station broadcasting liberals. Remember, Clear Channel is the parent company of premerie radio networks which syndictates Rush, Dr. Laura, Sean, Beck, etc.

Think they are pissed off AAR is doing so well?

2. 940 in miami is too. i think CC carries AAR on more than a few stations.
are they pissed? i dont know.
i dont like a lot of things they do with the programming here. the cbs radio bullshit news instead of aar news, ed shultz live, randi delayed then malloy with majority report after. that sucks.
i do think they want to make sure that they are positioned where the money is and if liberal talk is taking off, they want part of it.

13. She said on her show that she liked them. They offered her a
syndication deal, and Limbaugh threatened to pull his show. Randi said that they apologized to her, but they could not afford to lose him (then.) Wonder if he still has that much clout?

6. If you were Clear Channel, wouldn't you want to have the ability
to pull the plug on liberalism?

That's why they own AAR stations.

7. You really think so?
They own AAR stations because they want to make money. Period. End of story.

8. Right
Just as Moore said in "The Corporation". They fund his films cuz they make a ton of money off of them. They have no other god greater than money.

10. It's not a valid comparison.
AAR programming is about as far away from Stern as one can get without being NPR.

12. Clear Channel dumped Stern when he turned against Bush, thus
threatening Bush in Florida.

It's not a comparison; it's a fact.
