Josh Marshall:

If you aren't watching the Michael Brown senate hearings, you just missed a real treat. Sen. Norm Coleman (R), doofus senator from Minnesota, just managed to get his butt kicked by disgraced former FEMA Director Michael Brown. That's a singular accomplishment.

Video-WMP Video-QT

"At the end, Coleman actually used the fact that he had run out of time to run away from the encounter with Brown. I'm not sure I've ever seen that happen before...read on

19. Also have a whole bunch of other sound bites from the hearing on CanOFun
Videos by date, although by a couple of days from now the vids might be on the next page

There were some other things said that were pretty good, like Brownie comparing FEMA to a stepchild.

2. watched it live this morning lol
Coleman made a real ass of himself with his little blame it all on Brownie display.

That was one of the most obvious cover bush's ass displays that I have ever seen during a so called *investigative hearing*

I am not a Brown fan but he certainly handed Coleman his ass!

10. Ye gods
Coleman's talent is all in his hair, obviously. There's nothing underneath it. What a maroon.

5. "Ask me the question, senator"....
I loved it! Brownie took that smarmy mofo Coleman to the hoop. He challenged him to put up or shut up! Excellent. Coleman was talking trash just beating Brownie like a rented mule. Finally Brownie had had enough and fought back.

Like a schoolyard fight when one person is losing, all of a he sudden gets in a lucky shot and the bully runs away. priceless.

6. I watched Norman Coleman junior high school type strong arm this morning
and again just now, I believe it was all show for his butt buddy junior.

George Galloway ripped Norm a new asshole and if time allowed Brownie would have also.

8. First and only time I've rooted for Michael Brown
The mega-incompetent ex-FEMA director somehow managed to show us all just how annoying, petty, cowardly and craven a certain senator from Minnesota can be.

20. Just because you live in Minnesota
you don't have to call him "our" senator. I don't. No way is that Bushbot weasel my senator.

It was fun watching a moron (excuse me, "moran") like Brownie smack him. Poor Normie, I imagine he had hope his buddy George would call him tonight and tell him "Heckova job, Normie." But it looks like that won't happen now. :bounce:

22. Not really - Welcome to DU
He is just a lapdog for the current adminstration. Don't have to be smart to be a lapdog.

He is just a carpetbagging opportunist.

24. Coleman's role was just to read a scripted diatribe to blame Brownie.
When it came to "what's your actual question, dude?", he had bupkus.
