We feel embarrassed and shamed by the relationship Congressman Pombo has with former Majority Leader Tom Delay and the lobbyist Jack Abramoff. It is not comforting to us to have Mr. Pombo serve as a representative of the district or the Republican party while cited as one of the thirteen most corrupt Members of Congress. It is even less comforting that Mr. Pombo is the largest California recipient of money from the clients and person of Jack Abramoff, who has confessed to felonious attempts to influence congressional actions. - Pete McCloskey

6. You're damn right he does!! BTW, he's more liberal than a lot of Democrats

are today! The moran Democrats in that district have no reason to play center right - Steve Filson. Also, I went to DFA meeting and heard Jerry McNearney - who was running in the primaries - and asked him a very simple question "What are we going to do about the DLC?" He said "The DLC is dead!" and repeated it five times or so. My God did the DCCC - and Ellen Tauscher of the DLC - take him out by endorsing Filson with $100,000!! Just plain stupid on his part!!
