2. Who knows
I rarely give Buscho the benefit of the doubt with any story but Cheney drinking and taking heart medication does not seem a very likely scenario

3. Well, it makes
me think of why someone would, for example, delay reporting an auto accident. In this case, however, we do not know if there was a delay in reporting the accident to authorities, or just to the media.

9. Ambulance was used.
If the man was hauled to the hospital with an ambulance there was a report made. Also a hospital admittance for a gunshot there would be a mandatory police report made. This is a sop here in Kansas and I assume it would be pretty much the same in Texas and all of the other states.

10. Okay, that makes sense.
I was not aware of the ambulance, and had wondered about that because of all of the medical staff reportedly following the VP. But I still should have recognized that going into the hospital would make the police report mandatory, and that it is very unlikely it would be delayed for Cheney's purposes.

13. I think I read that Dick Cheney's personal medical staff
and ambulance was present and provided first treatment to the victim, and then transported him to the hospital. Apparently Dick never travels without doctors and an ambulance ready to deal with his latest medical crisis. I doubt they will be as forthcoming with the details as independent EMT personnel would be.

6. It prolly took Dick a while to drag the guy back to camp what with
the pacemaker and all. I bet the dude will look good when Cheney gets him back from the taxidermist. I can see him now spook mounted and hanging up in Cheney's billiard room next to the spotted owl and the sperm whale.

8. That would be my guess as to why the shooting happened ..
in the first place. He was out there in the cold hitting his flask to keep warm.

14. He's probably in a lot worse shape than is being reported.
Some reports say he was only 30 feet away when he got hit and some say he's in intensive care too. If someone hits you in the face from 30 feet away with a 12 gauge loaded with bird shot, it pretty much turns your face to hamburger.

Since the guy is 78 years old it'll be interesting to see if he survives his "peppering".

They tell us when and what they want us to know.
