5. the press are ANGRY? how nice of them to finally start waking up. I
notice the MSM were not ANGRY over the lies about iraq, were not ANGRY over the lies about 9/11, were not ANGRY over the illegal, warrantless wiretapping, were not ANGRY about the huge deficits engendered by this illegal, immoral and unjust war in iraq, were not ANGRY about the disaster of losing the gulf coast, were not ANGRY about the administration outing a CIA agent, were not ANGRY about the cuts in VA services and benefits, etc. etc.

but now they are ANGRY about the fact that the WH covered up dick cheney shooting a man. better late than never?

they've treated the press like shit for 6 years & the fourth estate (? is that right? forth or fifth...) has rolled over like the good little corporate lapdogs they are.

the ones that are not completely neutered by pro-GOP corporate control are irrelevant. a groundswell of public disapproval will never come out of newspaper readers.

the sedentary great unwashed simply don't give a shit as long as the oil keeps flowing. even if they did give a shit, they're drugged six ways from sunday with fatty snacks, porn, reality TV, pro sports, and celebrity worship to understand 'arcane' issues like why it is bad that the vice president SHOT SOMEONE IN THE FACE.
