Pamela Willeford and Dick Cheney
This is the only other info I can find on the two of them being together, other than that time this weekend when that lawyer got shot in the face.

To close this installment, I'll say a little bit about a reception for Dick Cheney, held at one of the local hotels and hosted by the U.S. ambassador to Switzerland, Pamela Willeford (who's from Austin, Texas — why wouldn't she be?). This is the social part of the Davos Journal — indeed, let's do bold-faced names! A Who's Who is present — it's an A-list D.C. party high in the Swiss Alps.

1. I guess I am out of the loop.
Who's Pamela Willeford? And what is her connection to Cheney?

3. she was (is?) also President of Pico Drilling Company
about which I can find NOTHING.

The posting to Bern was not the first honor Willeford had received from Bush. In 1995 then-Governor Bush appointed her to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, and two years later he elevated her to chairwoman. Willeford also serves as president of the Breckenridge-based Pico Drilling Co. She partnered with First Lady Laura Bush to begin the annual Texas Book Festival in 1996.
