:puke::mad::wtf::argh::grr::nuke::banghead::rant:

Oh my goddamn GOD! Let's take a break from DICKhead drinking his breakfast and lunch, and going hunting (ALLEGEDLY) shall we?

Every American with a PULSE should be FREAKING THE HELL OUT after reading this. So THIS is how the BU$Hitler 4th Reich Nazi Regime is going about WINNING THE WAR ON "TERRA" huh? This is unfrigginbeliable!!!!!!!!! By letting a country that FUNDS TERRORIST ACTIVITIES take over shipping ports in NYC, Philadelphia, Miami, NJ, Baltimore and New Orleans! This is just, this just goes beyond the pale. How the HELL can they justify this?! Countries like the U.A.E., Saudi Arabia (oh especially this piece of CRAP country, scumbags), Yemen, Pakistan, etc., are where the REAL heros of the USA SHOULD BE, and NOT Iraq. Sorry if I sound militant here, but why didn't we make tolietbowl countries like them into parking lots on Sept. 12th, 2001? Oh I know, NO, NO OIL THERE, SO SORRY CHARLIE, GOTTA STOP IRAQ FROM TRADING THEIR OIL IN EUROS CUZ IT'LL MAKE THE AMERICAN DOLLAR NOT WORTH A DAMN. Emperor Pissypants takes the good will of the rest of the world that America had after 9/11, yes even countries like Iran and Syria--which DUHbya want to do a war with as well, can you believe this KOOKAMYER!--had candle light vigils for US, yes US. And this TWIT completely pissed it all away with this psycho Iraq deal. This is just SO DISGUSTING. Will someone PLEASE save America from these wackjob CROOKS who are turning this country into a fucking dictatorship?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Anyone care to join me while I :puke: liver bile and blood?

United Arab Emirates firm to operate six major U.S. ports

SPECIAL TO WORLD TRIBUNE.COM
Monday, February 13, 2006

WASHINGTON — The Bush administration has approved a deal in which a United Arab Emirates company would operate six major ports in the United States.

A U.S. government panel has determined that the UAE firm, DP World, would not endanger national security.

DP World, based in Dubai, has offered $6.8 billion for the purchase of a British firm that operates the ports of Baltimore, Miami, New York, New Jersey, New Orleans and Philadelphia. DP World intends to acquire the London-based Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Co. The sale was expected to be approved on Monday.

There are certain industries that the US must always control. No other country in the world would do this. Why are US companies not running these ports? Do you think that the jobs are going to go to American workers?

Why is this not National News?

According to this article at commondreams, Securacom did security for the World

I'd say, by now, it should be fairly obvious to everyone
in this country that this group of thugs could care a less
about this country. There is no "America" in their view
of the world. All the rhetoric is simply designed to keep
the people cowering and agreeing to what ever it
takes to keep them "safe." The irony is, through it
all they have never been less so.
It's mind boggling, is it not?

Los Angeles is one of the ports NOT being included
in the arrangement.
It would be politically advantageous to the powers
that be to point to us and say,
"See, the major port that WASN'T being managed
by our UAE friends is the one that was hit."

I mean, think about the way these thugs operate and
don't forget to factor in that they are looking for
a reason to "get it on" in Iran.

9/11 getting kidney treatments by Dr. Terry Callaway, according to a report
by the French newspaper Le Figaro. While there, Osama met with Larry Mitchell,
a CIA agent, and also with Prince Turki bin Faisal, who was then the chief of
Saudi Security. Prince Turki is now the Saudi ambassador to the USA, and he
appeared at the State of the Union Address.

48. Who is on this committee?

The company said the U.S. Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States "thoroughly reviewed the potential transaction and concluded they had no objection." The committee includes representatives from the departments of Treasury, Defense, Justice, Commerce, State and Homeland Security.

They ignore small details.

But officials said the UAE has not fully responded to repeated appeals from the Treasury Department to halt money-laundering activities exploited by Al Qaida and aligned groups. They said that for years Dubai served as a base for Al Qaida operatives, including those who destroyed the World Trade Center and a Pentagon wing in 2001.

And should be dismissed for dereliction of duty.

Come on, dont you guys know the REAL reason they want to operate out of Dubai? They can get away with doing this tax free! Which means that any number of scary companies could start operating our ports. And tax free means that OUR government sure as hell wont be able to trace it. Just like they couldnt immediately trace 9/11.

64. Yep, profit over national security or
any other issue. Theyve become obsessed with making money for shareholders at everyone elses expense.

This attitude of the GOP enablers has become very dangerous.

66. Yup, last five years I've been trying to figure out:
Which is a bigger threat to America - Iraq or the Republican Party? It's a definate mystery.

70. Neither- in my book
The biggest threat to EVERYONE on the planet
are the multi-national corporate thugs who control
BOTH the democrats and the republicans as well
as the media who was SUPPOSED to warn us
and report on the take over.
Too late- WE BE SCREWED.
That's the way I see it anyway.
We are now in the same shape as every other
country raped and pillaged by them.
Most of us just don't now it yet.

65. Americans just haven't quite figured out the fact
that the multi national corporates view Americans
no differently than the citizens in the other
countries they have destroyed.
Americans think they are "special" somehow.
Boy are they in for a big surprise, eh?
Americans are about to find out
why the livng the "American dream" has been
living the "American nightmare" for the rest of the world.
It's all about to catch up to them and bite them in the ass.

And go experience what it's like living in other countries and interacting with other cultures before the Republicans make it illegal to do that.

69. My brother is doing just that- he leaves for Angola next week.
I am not thrilled that he will be working there, but I understand
his logic and why he is willin to take the risk.
He has been flying copters in the gulf for several years.
He takes the workers out to the oil platforms and
picks them up again.
He HATES working there and is surrounded by
bushbots.
He is about to start flying for Chevron in Angola
because he can make three times the money and
not pay taxes.
He plans to buy a house in South America.
He says I can come live there too.
I just hope he survives being stationed
in Angola long enough to do it.
I am really worried about what he is doing, but
I understand completely.
He wants OUT and sees no other way to do it
financially.

50. By the time they're done with all this....

Middle Eastern countries, European banks, and China will own us outright, and we won't have a judicial system left to do anything about it.

81. On Page 91 of "The Forbidden Truth:....
U.S.-Taliban Secret Oil Diplomacy and the Failed Hunt for Bin Ladin", by Jean-Charles Brisard & Guillaume Dasquie,

Another bank believed to have facilitated transfers for Osama bin Ladin's networks was the Dubai Islamic Bank<30>, created in 1975, based in the United Arab Emirates, and run by none other than the current minister of finance of the United Arab Emirates<31>. According to the CIA, these transfers fed organizations associated with bin Ladin. The Dubai Islamic Bank was also one of the principal shareholders in the BCCI with more than $80 million in assets there. The bank has been involved in several scandals...

<30> Bankers Almanack, 2000; IAC Company Intelligence, 2001.
<31> Among its shareholders are the governments of Dubai and Kuwait (which account for 10 percent of the capital). The bank is a shareholder in Bahrain Islamic Bank, Islamic Bank Bangladesh Ltd., and Tadamon, and also has investments in Al Shamal Islamic Bank.

72. The fine line between dream and illusion
Edited on Tue Feb-14-06 12:22 AM by slaveplanet
that big shiny mansion on the hill. It's still there, can't you see it? surely everyone can still see it?

The thing is tho, The grand house, has been relieved of it's jewels, no longer contained within the house are the fine clothes, same goes for the exquisite furnishings, rare artwork, fine china, crystal-ware and silver place settings.Likewise, all the appliances that made day to day life a pleasure, have as well, been liberated.

Yet the shiny mansion remains and everyone who drives by, gazes in admiration...If they only knew the truth.

The truth that the looters are on their way back ...yes they haven't finished, they have a busy schedule, and they intend to fetch the marble sinks, the chandelier, the beautiful draperies...yes folks they're even on their way back for the pipes and old wiring.

and the neighbors, they just say ... boy they really let the place go (deep down they really know better)
but there are no cops to call, and they all live in FEAR.

and they need to keep the illusion alive

73. A reply to your flame
/asbestos

It's the UAE, not Saudi Arabia. AFAIK, the UAE had nothing to do with 9/11 or related events. Dubai, a city in the UAE is actually quite a liberal oasis in that region. Of course, I oppose letting ANY foreign company operate something unless *we* can't do it ourselves for some reason, but that is not the point here

"Toilet bowl countries...parking lots?"
That could have been cut and copied from FR. Gee, I'm sure you're delighted we've killed 100,000+ Iraqis?

Operations were sold to a foreign company years ago. IF you open things up, expect competition.

78. Ports will be safer! Why?
Dubai already runs and operates one of the busiest, most modern and safest ports world.

AND, they have have the capital to make security improvements... UNLIKE the British corporation!!!

Your choice... or, would you prefer to continue with a crappily run near bankrupt port company with no money to spare for security improvements.
