Or more precisely, pre-Baby Bush, or pre-Clinton impeachment.
Since at least when Bill Clinton was the front runner for president, the GOP has been playing by a different set of rules, the ones that say if you don't win, you should flip over the card table and take all the money.
The democrats are like English gentlemen playing croquet and eating cucumber sandwiches while the GOP cuts them down with chainsaws.
The worst thing they have done is take advice from the guy with the chainsaw: "Don't block me with your croquet mallet, that's being obstructionist!"
So they dutifully put it down while so their arms and legs and heads can be cut off more efficiently.
I would like to see some obstruction and street fighting from these guys.
Some have the right convictions, but have been convinced by the most worthless, ass weasel consultants that they must be positive, bland, and vague which makes them seem weak, vacillating, and dishonest.
Those who have stood their ground haven't been killed (for the most part) and have earned the undying loyalty of the people here and elsewhere.
What will it take to make the rest of our congressmen and senators John Conyers and Cynthia McKinneys?
How many times do we have to lose with spineless sacks of shit?
