3. That's a no-brainer.
I'd rather go hunting for Cheney in Kennedy's car. Provided I am the driver. :-)

4. I wish people would leave Ted alone
Dayum, it was an accident that happened so long ago.

The freeps never let a good smear job go to waste. Theyll use it forever.

Because his drinking and driving problems were 40 years ago, not three days ago. :D

7. A car ride with Ted
Ted hasn't had another accident that I've heard of, but Darth Cheney apparently has at the very least scared people with his wild shooting before (in MD).

9. Oh my
it would be a dream come true to go for a car ride with Ted Kennedy - can you imagine the topics you could talk about - and I think his "driving" skills have probably improved over the years......

11. She (me) said: He's not called Deadeye Dick for nothing!
This was on another travel forum after an Aussie brought up the fact that Cheney was the shooter (I just love that term in context w/him!)

He (repug) said: I guess the new bumper sticker from the republicans will be " I rather be hunting with Dick Cheney than riding in a car with Ted Kennedy" !

I don't want to do either!

She said: Cheney Accidentally Bags Lawyer Out Of Season!!!

And as for riding in cars, you might want to add Laura Bush to that list, Mr. xxx.; she apparently fatally bagged an old friend in her misbegotten youth.

His final comment: I don't want to get in the car with her either then! yikes!

I just hope I 'learned' him summin'!

12. ahh, gee. I would go anywhere with Teddy... Just to have the
chance to talk to him (and thank him for his decades of service to all of us). Bless him...And, may the assholes who want to haunt him forever for his aknowledged serious mistakes, someday have to face up to their own...

13. First question..... Does Ted have a
gun.... second question.... Is dick drinking. On the whole, I'd rather go hunting with Ted... or pass up a chance to "go for a ride" with dick.

15. "Chappaquidick" was an intelligence set-up. Or at least that is what
John Dean (and others) have insinuated.

Don't have the quote but you can look it up.

John Dean made a cryptic half-comment about Ted Kennedy's involvement in the accident at Chappaquidick, saying,

"If Kennedy knew the bear trap he was walking into--"

At least he owned up to his mistake. Pickles still hasn't paid for killing that poor little boy and you know dickhead never will either!

17. Kennedy any time
He's a great statesman and has more than redeemed himself for what happened. I always like to remind people (especially R's) that if they're happy they can keep their health insurance coverage when they change jobs, they should thank Teddy.

21. I saw that on Craig Crawford's blog (is that where you were?).
Edited on Mon Feb-13-06 09:28 PM by SCRUBDASHRUB
When I first read it, I was thinking the poster was referencing JFK (could have been Ted (re: Chappaquiddick). The person who wrote that on Craig's blog is a freeper. He likes to stir up stuff.

Re: Laura Bush. Someone added that comment.
