Edit: Come on. Even normal people know there's royalty as in monarch and royalty as in book royalty $. There's lots of stuff consistent with the first. And there's plenty of cause to be angry about the oil royalties in and of themselves (but that cause is now sorely diminished).

This is a serious example of government corruption leading to billions of losses. Instead of charging the oil and gas companies and reducing the deficit, they have given billions of dollars to oil and gas companies. We will be paying the interest on that money for generations.
