This whole Hackett thing shouldn't have devolved into a pissing contest between the well-meaning DUers, with borderline slanderous comments flashing around suggesting that the trolls have waded into the fray already.
Or comments as to who is and isn't a Democrat based on where they stand on the issue.
The fact is that a lot of people really liked what Paul Hackett stood for, and how he was willing to say what he meant and mean what he said...without apology. You remember what that's like people? No apologies for speaking the truth?
It's a rare thing in Democratic circles these days.
We needed a firebrand out front...
It's not the other candidate that's raised our ire. He sounds like a good progressive Dem. It's the fact that the Dems can't figure out how to make use of a major asset and end up screwing the pooch YET again.
Let's table the "troll" innuendos and what not, please? It's not productive. And it's irritating.
edited to fix a typo...geez, I've had a lot of those tonight. Must be getting emotional.
Bad Juju.
