1. She's Kind Of Green Around The Gills!
ROTFL

But that may be the plan, as that would certainly set her up for a Prez run in 08.

She's said she doesn't want to run, but that never seems to matter

3. Well, I'd prefer to see them pick somebody who has some qualifications.
Condi has been 'failing upwards' but lets hope it stops soon. She is totally unqualified for the job she presently has, let alone get a promotion. If Cheney isn't going to be around to run things, they'll need to find somebody who can tell Dumbya what to do. Condi doesn't have the chops yet, not by a longshot.

4. Not gonna happen...
She's a token appointment to be ignored/listened to as needed. If * goes (possible), she'd be President and they don't want that. McCain or worse (Frist, Gonzalez, Spector are names that come to mind who would all be in line before sleeza) are more likely to replace deadeyedick, but, unless he has the big one, don't think it will happen. They have no fears, no re-election concerns.

5. I disagree - they need someone to continue to hide the bodies...
...and stay mum on where they're all buried. Condi is the perfect BFEE toady - obedient, discreet and nasty to the core. It's no accident that the Condi-for-prez campaign came to light (despite feigned indifference from Condi herself). They really want her as their candidate in 2008, and will throw McCain under the bus as soon as he's outlived his usefulness to them.

6. The R's have so many presidential wannabes that will get in the way
of a Rice nomination. If they R's do get rid of Cheney, which I think unlikely, they'll prop up someone who has no little chance as a Presidential candidate.

10. True but seems sleeza's #1 goal is to be NFL Commissioner!
I think she'd meltdown in any kind of election campaign. Her school-marmy, condescending attitude would not sell well. But, appointing her VP would be a rovian move which I could imagine, to try to win black votes, although she'd never get nominated in 2008. As I think of it though, they'd be worried about how to get rid of her, as she'd play the card that she at least deserves the VP nomination. They'd likely make her promise not to run in 2008, maybe guaranteeing something like NFL Commissioner (How laughable!).

Could this happen (candidate in 2008 for VP)? I doubt it but potentially an easy repub win, with the 'elect a women/black' campaign that would be sure to occur. But, would the right wing fascists desert? Probably. I'm sure they have polled to find out.

14. I don't think it'll happen, either.
Not unless the cabal is really in severe legal jeopardy and desperately need a 'stooge' in the WH to pardon them all. Their base would freak if Kindasleazy became VP or, Gawd forbid, president.
Freeps would spontaneously combust - proving that every cloud has a silver lining!

9. Great. Replace one viscious killer/liar with another.
At least this one will go shopping rather than an undisclosed location when there is a crisis.

She may well be the next vp, at least until she is indicted.

She's a woman and black. Two things that repukes detest and barely tolerate, she may be good for holding lil boots* hand and baby talking the idiot*, but, there's no way in hell she goes any higher than she has.
