2. Speaking of that old RW canard,

public health workers knew back in the 1980s, long before before Clinton was President, that teenagers were having a lot of oral sex and anal sex. Girls were telling health department doctors and nurses that they did it so they could keep their boyfriends happy without getting pregnant, and so they would "still be virgins." Yes, kids believed that not only did oral sex not count but that anal sex didn't count, that you were still a virgin no matter how much you engaged in those sexual practices! I don't know where they got those ridiculous ideas, but they had them before anybody outside of Arkansas knew who Bill Clinton was, much less about his sexual exploits.

The public health concern, of course, was the spread of AIDS and other STDs, particularly by anal sex, and that's why we public school teachers were briefed on the problem.
