Why was local law enforcement prevented from interviewing dick for 14 hour
Edited on Tue Feb-14-06 09:29 AM by In Truth We Trust
s?

edit to correct hours to 14 and a half hours before law enforcement was allowed to interview the dick. Please kick so that we might apply pressure for answers! After all that is the real issue here. Remember Chappaquidick and the freeper assualts on TK for his mistake.

I say that none of this passes the smell test. There are already inconsistencies which should be addressed. I for one believe that dick was drunk and therefore parhaps criminally negligent. I would like to know what if any charges he could face if it were proven that alchohol was a major factor (not that we'll ever prove it now due to their blocking legal access to the investigation.

1. If one were sceptical, you'd think to cleanse the crime scene
Not that our media is sceptical. If the story is not handed to them on a platter, they are not interested.

2. "A few points that may be worth noting about this event"......link.....

(from Common Dreams) snip...

1. The news reports say the accident happened "around 5:30 pm" on Saturday. In Texas, quail can be hunted until 30 minutes after sunset. Sunset on Saturday, in Corpus Christi, was at 6:18, which means they were legal until 6:48. The "around" is suspicious.

2. The news reports say that after Whittington (left) had gotten off his shot and went looking for his bird, Cheney and the other hunter went to another spot where they saw a covey of quail. Texas quail might be different from Iowa quail, but in Iowa when a shotgun goes off, every quail within earshot flutters away. The story doesn't make sense.

4. Canned hunt. They might have had caged birds to release
at intervals and after shots. Not very sportsman like. Hunters I know really hate the VIP's who think their time is too important to hunt on Nature's time table. To real hunters, patience is a prime virtue.

6. Ron Reagan mentioned the big "A" yesterday (2x on Tweety I think)-or
maybe twas another talk show. I can't keep em straight but Ron did speculate this--saying the first thing sherif would ask was there drinking involved. But since Cheney did not allow himself to be talked to til next morning-any alcohal on breath-would not show up. convenient.
