24 HOURS TO ENSURE SURVIVAL.....
My personal opinion on the delay in reporting that our vp had shot a man was to ensure that he lived. I believe that if the man had died or looked like maybe he was going to die---this would have come out differently. It would have been covered up completely or "we don't know where the shot came from". They might have even spun it into a possible assassination attempt on dick.
There is no other reason to wait as long as they did. Scotty said that the delay was partly due to dick wanting to make sure that the man got medical attention (Cheney rolls with an ambulance and full med staff). The only reason I can come up with is that the injury is more serious than what is being reported and they wanted to seal this off (no pictures..... send to me if you have found any).
If the man had died Cheney would be facing manslaughter charges.......wouldn't he...

2. Negligence might need to be proved in a manslaughter conviction
I'll bet that's one reason for all the ridiculous spin about it being Whittington’s own fault that Vice President Elmer Fudd shot him.

5. Only thing wrong with that is there's no sex
No sex
No girl
No river
No drowning

Just an elderly lawyer with a face full of birdshot, which he probably had coming karma wise anyway. Maybe he'll learn from the experience, reflect for a bit on the pain and suffering he's inflicted on other beings in his life - human and otherwise.

there were two guys and two girls (neither were their wives) and they were in a car together. Perhaps there was sex.

11. I posted (and posited!) this elsewhere: total cover-up was planned.
And everybody in the "party" understood the deal.

14. If the guy lives there's no point in a cover up
but if he died than a whole different story would have arose. exactly.
