WHY, Mary, WHY????????
From MSN/Newsweek:

Where are you?
Mary Tyler Moore : I'm in upstate New York. It was once just our country house on weekends. Then we just kind of had it with New York City and decided to move here on a permanent basis. It's a big farm, 150 acres. We have a couple of goats and four dogs and 14 horses. Most of them are rescue horses.

What do you watch on TV these days?
A lot of Fox News. I also watch "Two and a Half Men" and "Lost."

5. Mary Tyler Nazi?
But I think there would be some reference to sarcasm if she was being facetious. Of course, maybe Newsweek chose to report it the way they did. No public figure these days would say they watch Fox News every night unless they want to be associated with the right wing.

11. Maybe not
but Mary Tyler Moore has a very dry sense of humor. Check out the murder quip later on in that same interview.

7. Mary was a fake newswoman
So she watches fake news.

She probably is content to see so many Ted Baxters with gainful employment.

9. NO Mary Tyler More BASHING HERE!!!
She is the spokesperson for the JDRF! She lobbies Congress for a cure for diabetes and cutting-edge medical research, including stem-cell research. I don't CARE if she watches FOX news... That's not the problem. The problem is FOX news.

12. Foxy Mary
Well, she's allying herself with the wrong folks if she hopes to get more of this country's scarce resources allocated to fighting serious disease. These folks want more resources devoted to war and spying only.

16. How is saying she watches Fox News ALLYING with the wrong folks
Stephanie Miller watches Fox News too, but that doesn't mean she believes what they are saying.
