There were too many people there.

One person knowing you've shot a person and tried to cover it up is one too many. In this case there were four people if you include the victim who survived. That excludes the SS people who were there of course. I feel they'd take it to their graves, but you never know when one of those other four may let it slip to someone.

7. You have to know that Karl was the first person called;

with this in mind, you'll never know what really happened. Apparently he was hit fairly bad, much worse than being reported. I don't think that he's dead but I don't think he just picked up a few pellets. Stand back and watch the spin machine at work; at any point this is much worse than is being reported.
