So is it a political problem for shrubco if Deadeye can't show his face in
public anymore? :shrug:

Not that he ever did that very much, but at least he had the option, and the worst he would have to contend with is a disgruntled Katrina victim yelling "FU".

Now he might have to contend with uncomfortable press questions, perhaps even protestors in Elmer Fudd getups.

4. you bet
bush* is already portrayed as being in a bubble -- so much so that he thinks being in a bubble means he can't go to Walmart

and now we have Cheney hunkered in his bunker

The Cheney White House ain't talking to the bush* White House and a house divided will fall

5. To say nothing of the protests--the signs and antics
Imagine crowds throwing themselves to the ground in mock fear as his motorcade passes--it'll make "The Wave" look so 80's!!! The signs: DUCK AND COVER--DICK IS COMING!!!

He NEVER "meets the press" unless it is with a friendly Timmy Russert who reads the questions that are given to him. Why would the bastard start now??

They'll just have to have a few more SS agents in the room, and screen the guests at his little closed soirees a bit more carefully.

6. I would think the less people saw of Cheney the better for Bush
Cheney has never really "polled" well with people.

I'd like to see his mean smirk out in front more often. He scares people.
