HOORAY! Air America Radio finally acknowledges "Marc Maron Show"!!!

No air date yet- but for those of us who've been waiting oh so patiently, ANY acknowledgment of this show is a breakthrough!

Lastly: Brendan "PW" McDonald, myself and Jim Earl have been hammering out test shows all week. We're building some new funny, engaging some new real and fake characters and interviewing some new people. The show is shaping up and will be ready by Feb 13th. We'll see if the powers that be will be ready.

How and where you will hear the show is out of my hands. Air America will be in charge of that. So, check their web site for info (airamericaradio.com). When my web site is finished being updated it will serve as the show web site as well as my personal web site so you can go there for all of your Marc Maron and The Marc Maron Show needs. That, by the way, is the name of the show. Thanks for all the ideas but we went with simple and direct. Out of all of them I like "Maronation."

or at least shortened. He's useless IMHO. His heart is in the right place mostly but he's BORING!

3. Yeah and between him in the am and the replacement they made here in

NY for Malloy in the evenings--the Satellite sisters--it does seem to me that AAR has had a death wish of late. I miss listening to Malloy as I fall asleep; he put a smile on my face.

9. Me too! Maybe it's just us latebloomers (LOL), but I find myself

gritting my teeth when I listen to them and Springer's folksie stories about his youth and his baseball obsession or Riley's sports reports. On the latter--there are hundreds of am shows with nothing but sports scores! AAR is supposed to be about progressive news! I don't know what I'd do without Rachael and I'm in mourning over Malloy. ...and I'm listening less and less!

I'm in the NYC area, and I'd much rather listen to the much more intelligent Brian Lehrer NPR call-in show at that time.
