Cheney Shooting: Questions: Help Please
1. Was he shooting from a limo, as The Daily Show suggested last night? I've heard from other sources that car-shooting is the method used at this "ranch."

2. Is TBR News' Voice of the White House reliable on any level? I'm always wondering this, but especially now since it reports that Cheney shot in panic, seeing his friend as an assassin. . .and that B was drunk during Katrina and that Brown likely knows he was covering for that fact...

3. Did anyone else catch Alan Simpson referring to his neighbors/former constuients as "unwashed" on Larry King Live tonight? Katie Couric used the same expression for "folks in the middle of the country": "The Great Unwashed" when asking some NY author in 2002 about his characters, so I wrote a snarky letter to NBC and stopped watching any of their news, although I just realized I am a fan of Keith O.....oh , well.

Thanks for any clarification!

2. one more question!!
Is it legal for the White House medical staff to be involved in caring for a private citizen, as reported on Rita Cosby, Huffy McBreathy, or whatever Jon Stewart calls her? it was reported that WH docs are consulting,at least, on the Whittington case.....isn't this a story about access to health care that ought to be addressed this week when the B is campaigning on health care? Why is it in the nation's interest to pay for Whittington's recovery when I can't get an EKG without cash up front?

3. I can only answer question 2...
I've been reading that column for months, and while this is opinion, a column three weeks previous contained a scanned image of the front of a report regarding DoD and their attack on the internet. Unless is actually a WH insider, it would be hard to explain how this guy have access to such a document. Perhaps he is at arm's length, and an insider feeds him information to write his column. But at any rate, the things he says are pretty close to the opinion and sensibilities of people here. I'd say he's legit, as I have seen nothing to conclude otherwise.

I'm more than happy to be proven wrong.

5. thank you
something about the writing seems to ring true--that's vague and intuitive, i know--and it's hard to judge the site's accuracy in the midst of things and with so much secrecy.....

4. I hope you don't mind me hijacking your thread, but I have a question.
When did everyone start calling him Dead-eye Dick? Is that a hunting term?
