to cover it up." this was followed by some lame punchline...but it seems that the "cheney was drunk" meme is now commonplace

1. Why else wouldn't the Secret Service let the police question
Cheney? It appears they were trying to sober up the involved parties.

You can bet no alcohol/drug tests will be published by the hospital on Whittington. The family has already silenced the hospital.
