Also on Tuesday, another US Humvee was destroyed when it was targeted by roadside bomb in the town of Ramadi, west of the capital. According to Ramadi residents, US soldiers opened fire following the attack, causing an unknown number of Iraqi casualties.

1. My guess?
Oh, say around 50,000 to 100,000 innocent Iraqis dead via our occupation. As a result of the "shoot them all and let God sort them out" approach to the US occupation.

My USA bad!

Oopsie!

3. our Army does not have a "kill em all" mentality AT ALL!
although some contractors (halliburton warriors) might fight that description. Your numbers (between 50,000 and 100,000) are accurate, if not short.

2. leftchick, I normally like your posts
Hmmm, isn't that the caveat someone always uses before bashing another person?

Well, I'm not going to bash you, but what I would humbly beseech you is to apply some skepticism to the news reports you read. Who is the source? Why are they reporting this? Does the source have anything to gain by possibly fabricating information?

Think of it this way, just because somebody says such and such happened doesn't make it true. Hell, We at the DU applied this reasoning when * came up with that bullsh*t story about the Liberty Tower in LA and the failed terrorist plot.
