Is it true the Menendez Brothers used bird pellets to kill their parents?
I tried to find what type of shells used to kill their parents. No luck! But, I heard it through the grapevine that the same pellets used to wound judge Whittington, killed the parents of the Menendez brothers. Also, they shot them at point blank range. I believe, in order for the judge to have been wounded so seriously with pellets that are used not to mangle little birds, Cheney was a whole lot closer that he want us to believe.

Hey, perhaps it was a hit?

1. Probably would not have caused so many problems
if Whittington was younger.

The account of Whittington's distance makes sense. What doesn't is that he walked into Cheney's "line of fire".

2. Remember the Baxter "suicide"?
The shooter used some sort of birdshot.

4. I don't know...guns (and therefore, ammo) don't hold much interest
for me. However, I did have the misfortune of seeing photos of the Menedez crime scene, and they were GRUESOME. The mother's face was LITERALLY blown off; it no longer looked human..more like some horrific jelly.
Jeebus. If THAT'S what Cheney used that poor old man (Whittington) must be a lot worse off than we're being led to believe.

7. All a matter of distance
The pellets from a shotshell leave the barrel in a packed mass, and begin spreading immediately. Up close, they impact almost as a solid projectile, only a few yards makes a big difference. Pellets are not ballistically efficient, they lose velocity and energy quickly.

6. Take off the tinfoil hat. It makes you look silly.
At point blank range, the size of the shot doesn't matter as they are all still clumped together. At 30 yards, depending on the choke on the shotgun, you could have from 1/2 to all of the pellets still in a 30 inch circle. At 30 yards, the pellets will penetrate skin, but not go deeply into the body. One pellet got into a blood vessel and has travelled to the heart.

There is no reason to believe that it was a "hit". They would not be stupid enough to make a hit that way. Given that Whittington is 78, a hit could be done that would look like a natural heart attack.

9. Just throwing that hit comment out there!

I know, as devious as this administration is, in particular Cheney, it would have been done a lot cleaner. Cheney would have probably been in Wyoming at the time of any type of "hit".

Just a little "jokey joke".
