ANY attorney will tell you that you do NOT admit you were responsible in a case like this, unless you are trying for a plea deal. If you are going to be held unaccountable, you must prove that the situation arose out of circumstances beyond your control.

If Cheney says, I messed up, I should have known where he was...I am to blame and then, the guy dies...he will be responsible for involuntary manslaughter. The court will have his own confession.

Don't look for a confession. It won't happen. It will put as an unfortunate event. He will probably skirt the question of blame entirely. Just come out and say that he is sorry the incident happened, not HIS role in it. He will say that the work of government must continue. He is staying in touch with the family and offering any assistance they require.

That will be about it. Don't look for any grand revelations in this mandatory propaganda release. You won't find any.
