Well, it's the beginning of 2006 and what are all the hearings we have going on?

-Senate Judiciary Committee hearings on NSA wiretapping
-House Government Reform Committee hearings on Katrina
-Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee hearings Katrina
-Various open and closed door House Subcommittee hearings on Able Danger
-Senate Indian Affairs Committee hearings on Jack Abramoff and Indian Tribes

It's nice to see some Republicans actually taking their oversight role seriously. I think these current hearings are helping to lay the groundwork. After the Dems win back Congress this November, the real thorough investigations can begin in 2007. That's when the dog doo doo is really gonna fly fast. :)
