MSNBC: Whittington planned to do some attorney work in his hospital room

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11361657/

<snip>

Hospital officials said Whittington had a normal heart rhythm again Wednesday afternoon and was sitting up in a chair, eating regular food and planned to do some attorney work in his hospital room. He had had no further complications and was expected to remain in the hospital for about another week.

“He still kind of wonders what all the hoopla is about,” said Peter Banko, the hospital’s administrator. He said Whittington sees it as “much ado about nothing.”

Hmm...

5. Really? Then let's get him on camera saying that.
A still photo would work, too. For now.

9. Exactly!
I ain't buying any of this crapola. If the guy was cognizant for five minutes, they'd have a camera up in his room pronto - just to show the public that he's fine, nothing to see here, go on home now ...

Either this guy is in REALLY bad shape - or, perhaps, what he would say to a photographer or TV crew is something that Cheney doesn't want to be heard ...

6. I just had a heart attack, I have pellets in my liver and heart

And, I had a cardiac catherization yesterday.

What's the big deal?

Just because the Vice President of the United States shot me?

So, I am in the ICU unit. And, I run the risk of pellets migrating to vital organs or stroking out due to the blood clots that can form due to this....

What's all the HOOPLA?

Yeah. I am sure that is what he said.
