Would I ever love it if the Democrats could, when in control, pass as much

legislation as the GOP has in the last five years. We hate what they have done but we must admit they have been very successful. They have achieved beyond their greatest expectations. Whenever Bush* submitted anything the Congress would one up him and surpass even his outrageous proposals. Think what a wonderful country we could become if Democrats could function as well. :shrug: I guess greed and Power get in the way every time...

1. but they won't, because:

a. The Dems represent the same corporations

b. The repukes will provide organized opposition

c. The Dems will try to restore "fair" play instead of turning tables on the fascists

d. Any "wins" the Dems have electorally post-2000-coup will be orchestrated by the fascists to perpetuate the appearance, not the substance, of democracy.

e. The fascists will assassinate (literally as with Kennedy's, King, and wellstone) or virtually (as with Clinton) any Dem who somewhow defeats the Diebold stranglehood on "democracy" or who goes "off script" and starts trying to actually change anything
