Fox News: Protecting America from Terrorism
That's what their banner says. I know that they are running some segment to "examine" Bush's
half-assed War on Terra but it reads like they are claiming they are our protectors.

1. They do protect us
Out there are all sorts of negative evil stories about how bad President Bush is doing on the war on terror - Fox News protects us from having to hear about those awful stories!

If we disagree with President Bush's version of reality, the terrorists win.

a little more accurate.

I shall nver forget Bill O'Reiley's interview with Bush...I swear Bill was ready to get on his knees and start blowing the shrub right there and then.

3. By opening our ports to be run by an oil-rich, Middle East country?
By ignoring security at the rest of our ports?
By ignoring security threats at nuclear/chemical plants?
By ignoring the security threats facing our rail and trucking industries?

6. The terror I see in America is the terror on our mean streets,....
in any city, with Americans being the perpetrators against other Americans. Why don't they talk about that. I guess Laura has cleaned up the gangs, as promised, so not to worry.
