He has the movements down PAT...the leaning on the podium, the head jerks,the choppy motion with the hand...even the way he looks down at his notes, and fiddles with the paper. It's a stunning performance, you can tell the guy did his homework!

Apparently it takes several hours. Even if he does make more per hour than the actual *, I still think it's bizarre to voluntarily go through such an ordeal, only to come out looking WORSE than one's real self!

p.s. Bridges is a Baptist preacher and youth pastor, who uses his comedy skills in his work ... supposedly that's how he got admittance to *'s inner sanctum, on the basis of being a fellow Christian. He bills himself as a "clean comedian", but last year he did his Bush routine for the Dennis Leary Christmas special on Comedy Central .... and THAT was definitely not in tune with the image he's been promoting. Either he has a much broader sense of humor than I'd expected, or the gig was such good money that he couldn't resist the temptation!

Or is this just a publicity shot? Although I liked the routine, it lacked "bite, and portrayed * as a likeable dufus. That's why I wondered when it was done. The likeable dufus thing stopped being funny after Iraq for most people. Me? I never bought it.
