Global Warming! Nice name, how could it be bad? Like calling a house fire 'a domestic temperature anomaly'.

Come on folks, it's a little worst than that and the name doesn't convey the need for immediate action. Should we at DU should lead the way for a new name?

Warming sounds kinda you know, warm and fuzzy, pleasant. But if there is one thing most white people i know is they hate "the heat" or being "hot"
SO i propose global HEATING or the global hotness increase.
Or better yet tell them that soon enough their land and forests will not be "European" anymore :o but more like "the jungle" or Haiti!
so we'll call it "global jungle encroachment"
nothing to get fat, white, surburbanites more motivated than to tell then they might live in a place like Africa or something!
